Why Water

The Bellesi's have chosen to work on raising funds for water projects in Ethiopia. Why water you ask? Right now almost a billion people on the planet do not have access to clean water. Dirty water and poor hygiene account for more than 80% of all diseases. According to Unicef, 4,500 children die each day due to unsafe drinking water and lack of basic sanitation. Over 90 per cent of deaths from diarrhoeal diseases due to unsafe water and sanitation in the developing world occur in children below 5 years old.
